Our approach

Water vapour is always present in the air, and is constantly replaced by the hydrologic cycle. It can be harvested and turned into great-tasting drinking water using technology that condenses the air, and filters and remineralises the water.

Wanda Oasis operates in remote, off-grid locations without the need for extensive pipelines or a water treatment plant – infrastructure that may be economically unfeasible. It can also be used to provide drinking water in emergency situations, disaster zones or during humanitarian crises, where access to clean water is often limited.

Hot, humid climates offer perfect conditions for capturing water from air. The tropics and subtropics that possess these climates are where the greatest water scarcity exists – where people lack access to clean drinking water. Wanda Oasis provides a crucial source of potable water in areas where traditional water infrastructure is either insufficient or non-existent.
Our objectives
Atmospheric water generator (AWG) technology is ingenious and there is significant opportunity for further development. It is at a stage not dissimilar to the early days of solar energy. A key part of our mission is to develop this technology for the good of all, with two objectives:

Double the volume of water capture for the same or less energy expenditure (currently between 30 – 100 watts/litre) through the optimisation of condensation technology

Develop new technology that can be incorporated into building structures, where the fabric of the building will be able to generate all of the water needs for its inhabitants
We collaborate with charities, NGOs, universities, local entrepreneurs, businesses and government partners to deliver sustainable, culturally relevant, and community-owned solutions.
